METALLURGICAL EQUIPMENT

  Metallurgical production unit of "NKMZ" includes steelmaking, foundry, forge-stamping, thermal process and it possesses one-of-a kind complex of the equipment enabling them to produce a wide range of blanks with the finished metallurgical cycle.
  The highest quality requirements to metal are provided by the after-furnace steel refining in the "ladle-furnace" facility with the subsequent high vacuum degassing.
  Melting of 200 carbon and alloyed steel grades have been mastered.
  Forging production facilities make it possible to produce one-of-a-kind forgings weighing between 15,6 and 200 t.
  Thermal process facilities permit all types of blanks and parts to be subject to annealing, isothermal annealing, normalizing with tempering, tempering and quenching with tempering.   In the field of foundry the new casting processes have been introduced using advanced cold solidifying and plastic self-solidifying blends on the basis of the up-to-date mechanized units with vibrocompaction.
