  The steelmaking equipment was included in the company's mix as far back as during its construction.
  In 1948, the first 1.300-ton stationary hot-metal mixer was manufactured at NKMZ. Since then, standard sizes of such mixers were extended and the mixers themselves upgraded and their performances, reability and serviceability improved by implementing the latest design, various automated and powered facilities. About 200 stationary and movable mixers have been already made supplied to the customers from Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Finland, India, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Nigeria, etc.

Recently, to provide the steelmaking plants with the state-of-the-art equipment, new machine types are being implemented at NKMZ. These are:
  • Basic oxygen furnace (BOF);
  • Oxygen feed unit (BOF shop);
  • Ladle tilting turret, etc.
