SLAGGING MACHINES

These machines are intended to slag off ladles with hot metal prior to pour it into the mixer or basic oxygen converter and installed in the mixer bays.
When slagging off detrimental admixtures are removed from the hot metal with slag.
Slagging equipment enables to improve the quality and chemistry of hot metal poured into the mixer car and then - to the basic oxygen converter.

Advantages:

Small size of mechanisms;
Main mechanisms of the machine are fitted with the hydraulic drive responsible for tilting, lifting and turning the carriage and moving the boom with a scraper attached theteto;
Machine control may be effected from the operator's cab provided with the control panel, heat radiation protecting and air-conditioning facilities;
High efficiency of slagging.
