HEADING MACHINES

  Customer's requirement and the field experience accumulated in operating similar machines were considered when designing this type of the header.

  As early as the 30-s, the 1-st phase of the well-known Metro in Moscow was worked through the use of the tunnel shields made at Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod.
  Now, by extending the range of products traditionally manufactured at NKMZ for the coal-mining industry based on production facilities which have been earlier used in production of the space ship and missile launch pad equipment, a new generation of the highly-efficient heading machines employed in gassy and dust-ignition hazardous mines was developed in collaboration with "DONGYPROUGUMASH" Project and Production Association.

 

P110 HEADER

P110
  This Header was designed based on the standard heading machine to carry out selective winning and loading of the rock mass when working coal and mixed faces of 7 to 25 m2 in cross-sectional area.
  The machine was put through complete tests at the mines in DONBASS region and accepted for production at commercial level. Now, this machine is being operated at 12 mines demonstrating high working rates and reliability compared to the similar machines that are in service at the mines in CIS.
  The Type P110 boom-type cutter header of the selective action is designed for the powered winning and loading of the rock mass when operating in the arch-shaped, trapezoidal or rectangular workings of 7 to 25 metres in cross-sectional area in the coal and mixed seams at dip angles of ±12° with the maximum rock strength of 100 MPa (f=7) and abrasiveness up to 15 mg in gassy and dust-ignition hazardous mines.

P220 HEADER

  The Type P220 Header is designed on the advanced designs embedded in the prototype P110 machine from which it differs in 1.5 to 2-fold capacity, capability to cut more hard rocks and to work larger cross-sectional areas in the faces and better reliability.
  The Type P220 boom-type cutter header of the selective action is designed to carry out the powered cutting and loading of the rock mass when driving the arch-shaped, trapezoidal or rectangular workings of 90 to 30 square metres in cross-sectional area with the dip angle of ±12° in the coal or mixed faces at maximum rock hardness of 120 MPa (f=8) and abrasiveness up to 18 mg in gassy and dust-ignition hazardous mines.
