SCREENING EQUIPMENT

  To sieve the charge materials, NKMZ offers a variety of screens, i.e. disk grizzlies, vibrating and unbalanced-throw screens with the capacities up to 600 tons/hr (considering weight of the primary stock).

 

DISK GRIZZLIES

  Disk grizzlies are designed to sieve coke of 0 to 75 mm in size for the iron and steel works. Fixed mobile, single and twin; 8-, 10- and 14-roller grizzlies are manufactured at NKMZ.
  An operating principle of this type of screens is as follows
The coke arriving at the cage top portion is shaked by means of the toothed disks and rolls down the inclined surface formed by said disks at a growing speed. When being in motion, the coke breeze drops through the square meshes formed by said disks while larger coke lumps roll off the grizzly.

UNBALANCED-THROW SCREENS

  This type of screens is designed to size the bulk material with the volumetric weight no more than 1.4 ton/m3 and screening surface slope angle of 10 to 25 deg When screening coal, anthracite or oil shale.
  Supported or suspended, stationary or mobile screens may be manufactured.
