DRAUGHT EQUIPMENT

  In 2001, the Type TDM draught machines were implemented at NKMZ based on experience gained in designing and manufacture of various types of the fans and smoke exhausters. The first to be designed, manufactured and shipped to the customers were the Type MDP-14600 and MDP-30000 rotary draught machines.
  The machines of this type are designed to transfer large volumes of gases containing hard abrasive particles at temperature up to 400°C.
  NKMZ cooperates with GNIKI Research Institute (Kryvoi Rog) in joint designing and upgrading of the existing draught machines.

    TDM-Type draught machine advantages:
  • Maximum shortening of a number of quick-wearing parts;
  • Providing protections for quick-wearing surfaces;
  • Reducing the fatiguing effects due to the more intense use of the impeller flow passage.

At present, NKMZ manufactures the mill exhauster fans and blow fans up to 100,000 m3/hr, of capacity for the ore-dressing plants and smoke exhausters up to 215,000 m3/hr of capacity for the iron and steel works.
