FOUNDRY FACILITIES

 

 Foundry technical capabilities enable to make castings from:

  • carbon; alloyed, high-alloyed grades of steel;
  • graphitic , high-strength, bearing and special cast iron;
  • bronze alloy.

  The castings are produced for machines of our own facilities as well as for other manufacturers of special equipment for hydroengineering, power-generating, ship-building, material-handling, mining and metallurgical industries.

  Application of up-to-date kneading-and-mixing machinery from FAT, GUT (Germany) and new materials for casting molds production according to “Furane-process” enable to obtain castings of the following weighing:

from 1 kg to 150 tons

Iron casting

from 1 kg to 105 tons

Nonferrous casting

from 0,1 kg to 5 tons

  For nonferrous casting there is a park of centrifugal casting machines.

  Application of computer reverse engineering systems (САЕ) MAGMASoft (Germany) and LVMFlow (Russia) enable to develop technological processes for castings production of guaranteed quality.

  Mold-making facilities allow producing models with shape-generating surface profile of any complexity by using of 5-axis wood-working center with CNC NC 2516 iP from ANDI (Germany) and advanced 3-D design systems (CAD) Solid Works (USA) and (CAM) Cimatron (Israel).

  The castings are subject to complete cutting and cleaning cycle.

  According to technical requirements the castings shall pass through the following types of heat treatment:

  • annealing for internal stress relief and hardness softening;
  • hardening;
  • normalization;
  • normalization with tempering;
  • case-hardening.
