MACHINING

The facilities of NKMZ and its engineering and technical potential allow manufacturing practically any engineering product meeting the international requirements and wishes of the strictest customers.
The metal-cutting base accommodates about 2500 machines and machining centers, among which are the ones produced by Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan etc.
the technologies providing machining of parts weighing from some grams to 250 t are realized.
NKMZ encounters no problems when machining sophisticated case-shaped and basic parts.


High-precision machining of the parts on the machining centers made by "Waldrich Coburg" and "INNSE" (Germany) according to control programs.

Parts of up to 4000 mm high and up to 40000mm length (e.g. press brackets) are machined on the twin horizontal boring machines (with the integrated column guides) made by "SKODA" (Czech Republic).

Comprehensive works are being carried out at NKMZ with regard to modernization of heavy boring machines made by "SKODA" (Czech Republic), "SCHIESS' (Germany) and "INNSE" (Italy) by providing the required machine ratings, recent CNC systems, tool magazines and measuring systems.

Longitudinal milling and planing machine with the table load capacity of 40 tons is modernized by NKMZ. This machine provides gun drilling of the holes from 10mm up to 32 mm in dia and up to 3000 mm deep in the base parts and in long-length shafts.

NKMZ has gained a rich experience in manufacture of the top-quality hydraulic cylinders within a wide range of diameters and lengths. Deep-boring, internal-grinding and honing machines made by "GEHRING", "TACCHI" and "KZTS" are available being fitted with expansion heads, diamond and abrasive tools supplied by "S.Coromant", "Botec", etc. as well as with the control and measuring facilities.

The gear machining equipment fleet numbers over 70 machines including CNC machining centers made by "Gleason -Pfauter" namely: an unique gear shaping machine with maximal dia of internal gears machining up to 2000 mm and augmented ram stroke up to 650 mm; the vertical gear-hobbing machine tools in which gears are machined with the AA nobbing cutters and the seventh grade of accuracy of engagement are ensured; P2000G gear-grinding machine having high efficiency and the fourth grade of accuracy gear-wheels are produced.
This machine has regular measuring complex made by "Siemens".
Products, manufactured with other machines are measured with stationary devices at gear-measuring laboratory.
