Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod has 65 years' experience in producing various types of roll and other equipment for rolling mills
In this period we have manufactured over a million tons of rolls for rolling mills for rolling mills which operate in more than 20 countries of the world.
More sophisticated facilities for iron and steel making and machine-assembly production units of NKMZ make it possible to manufacture products satisfying the high Consumer's requirements. Specifically, the after-furnace steel refining facility ensures high purity of steel and the composite rolls manufacturing process brought out to a commercial level in the Company enables to provide their durability 3-4 times higher than the same of the rolls manufactured using the conventional technology. Starting from 1994 the Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of international standard EN ISO 9001:2000 has been operating in the company that is confirmed by the certificates of international certifying authority TUV CERT (Germany) and national certifying authority - Research and development center "STANKOSERT" (Ukraine). The quality of the rolling-mill rolls corresponds to the requirements of the normative documents and the consumers' inquiries that enable them to competete successfully at the world market of the rolling mill rolls manufactures.
The quality of the rolling-mill rolls as well as CCM rollers which are manufactured at Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod has been attested with the certificates issued by the Technical Supervisory Company TÜV NORD, Germany.

ROLLS FOR BREAK-DOWN, BILLET AND SECTION MILLS

The rolls are distinguished by high quality of metal, enhanced physical and mechanical properties and hardness that ensure their particular wear resistance during operation.

BACKUP ROLLS FOR HOT AND COLD SHEET MILLS

The solid-forged and rollscomposite roll sleeves are manu-factured of particularly high-quality alloyed vacuum-degassed steels that ensure the high surface hardness, the depth of case up to 100 mm and as a consequence, their improved performance.

WORK ROLLS FOR COLD-ROLLING MILLS

The rolls are manufactured of particularly high-quality alloyed steels. They are distinguished by high hardness for the depth up to 45 mm that ensures an improved durability under severe conditions of high-speed rolling which is accompanied by heat shocks in operation.
